Mr. Saitta is a Managing Director with FPL Associates L.P. and has over 24 years of public accounting and consulting experience within the real estate industry. During this time his responsibilities have included auditing, financial due diligence, financial outsourcing and advisory services including initial public offering planning and structuring, litigation support and compensation planning and structuring for public and private companies.
Prior to joining FPL Associates, Mr. Saitta was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, where he co-led that firm’s executive compensation consulting practice. In this role, Mr. Saitta was responsible for advising clients on a broad range of compensation-related matters including compensation program design, executive and board compensation benchmarking and employment agreement structuring and negotiations. Prior to this, Mr. Saitta was with Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Advisory Services practice where he played a senior role in conducting financial audits of public and private real estate entities, including REITs, owners, developers, and pension funds; performed and supervised due diligence engagements in connection with asset, portfolio and corporate acquisitions; managed the successful IPO and secondary offerings of a retail REIT; and managed due diligence assignments related to the securitization of performing and non-performing commercial loan portfolios.
Mr. Saitta is also regularly quoted and contributes articles and studies on Executive Compensation that have appeared in publications such as Real Estate Finance Journal, SNL Financial, National Real Estate Investor and REIT.com, among others.
Mr. Saitta holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Baruch College and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
